QC Team - Construction

Responsibilities:

  • Quality control aims to identify defects during the construction stage of a project.
  • The goal is to identify defects before a project is handed over to the user
  • Responsible to check and audit all projects

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Electrical
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Project Scheduler


Responsibilities:

  • The Project Scheduler position will be responsible for overseeing all project scheduling activities on an assigned construction project.
  • The Project Schedule will be in strict accordance with the contract documents, it will be the Project Scheduler's responsibility to ensure the contracts schedule requirements are met.
  • The Project Scheduler must be knowledgeable enough to effectively assist, review and critique the logic, sequence and durations.
  • The Project Scheduler must also be experienced enough to review and approve the Contractors monthly updates and required modifications to the schedule as construction progresses.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Project Architect

Responsibilities:

Design

  • Responsible for the development of a project, working with a senior designer/design principal and project manager.
  • Advanced understanding and experience in application of planning, programming and design principles and methods.
  • Promotes firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability.

Technical

  • Understands and coordinates engineering systems relevant to projects.
  • Reviews shop drawings, material samples and CD’s for conformance with design.
  • Performs construction administration duties (e.g. RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.)
  • Prepares reports and specifications; reviews completed reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations.
  • Executes applicable agency review analysis (accessibility, zoning, life-safety, etc.)
  • Generates construction plans and details, delivering complete, accurate and coordinated project documentation.
  • Assures execution of and assists with quality control activities for all architectural elements.
  • Conducts and documents field observations to monitor progress of construction
  • Ensures tasks are completed according to the Perkins+Will standards and Project Delivery Manual

Civil & Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
  • Test soils or materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.
  • Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
  • Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures, following construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
  • Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations or establish reference points, grades, or elevations to guide construction.

Requirements:

  • Male / Female, Max 35 years old.
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from reputable university, Geotechnic majoring will be added value

MEP Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
  • Conduct research that tests or analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
  • Develop and test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility, operating condition effects, possible new applications and necessity of modification.
  • Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications

Cost & Contract


Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
  • Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
  • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
  • Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
  • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
  • Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction.
  • Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent.

Project Manager


Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, budget and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Define the scope, objectives requirements, critical path, success criteria, schedule and oversee quality control of each project through its life cycle. Work closely with project management team which includes architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors and engineers to produce conceptual design phase, schematic design phase and detailed design phase of a project.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a recognized university
  • Minimal 5 years of relevant experience. Carried experience in high rise building, mixed used, hospitals, malls, or hospitality industry will be advantageous
  • Good contact with suppliers
  • Proficient in Photoshop, AutoCAD and possess presentation skills also familiar with microsoft project / primavera
  • Conversant with building and safety regulations, submission procedures and construction pratices.
  • Able to communicate in english
